New Flea Market
November 20th, 2013 11:15 AM

There have always been several large flea markets in the Kissimmee area but since summer, there is a new flea market now close to Hwy. 27 and the Davenport area.   Gate West Flea Market opened to the public a few months ago and is fully indoor and  air conditioned with two separate buildings, a food court, and approximately 300 booths.

Located across from Orange Lake Country Club on W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy., this flea market is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM and is conveniently located to the Disney theme parks, for those staying in the area on vacation.

Not all of the booths are yet occupied but there is still much to choose from:  luggage, watches and jewelry, handbags, phone cases, shoes, sheets, clothing, lots of Disney souveniers and clothing,  and many speciality items.

There is even an ice cream shop with a choice of regular ice cream or frozen yogurt.  We sampled both and it is delicious!

Flea markets are not for everyone, but if you are looking for bargain prices or just love the "hunt" of one, this is a great place to visit.  There is plenty of parking and indoor benches to relax and enjoy that ice cream.

Happy bargain hunting!
