Just The Facts

There is often confusion about Ridgewood Lakes, with many people thinking the entire community is Del Webb Orlando.  The fact is that there are 5 separate subdivisons, each with their own HOA and amenities, and only two of those are age restricted.

The Pointe was the first community to be built right inside the front gate entrance.  There are no amenities in this subdivision, but many of the homes face a beautiful pond area.  This section is zoned for short term rentals, is also a family community, and does not have pet restrictions.

The Forest is the second family community, also allowing short term rentals.  This subdivision has tennis courts, a community heated pool and playground.  The lots and homes are larger, some of an executive style,  some two story, with many facing either the golf course or a lake.  There are no pet restrictions.  The tennis courts are open to anyone in Ridgewood Lakes, but the community pool and playground are for residents of The Forest only.

The Gallery Condos near the golf course clubhouse, involve only 28 units and are not age restricted.  The only amenity is a community pool; all units have a one car garage.  There are no pet restrictions and the units can be rented out either short term or long.  Conveniently located to the clubhouse, there is a restaurant on site for lunches and periodic buffet dinners.  There is also a golf driving range behind some of the condos.

High Vista is an age restricted, 55+community, which was completed in 2005.  All the homes are one story, with various floor plans, and cannot be rented short term.    Rentals can only  be 30 days or longer,  but most residents prefer a long term lease of 12 months.  There is a pet restriction of only two pets, both being 25 pounds or less.  A beautiful community clubhouse is restricted to High Vista residents only and their guests, offering a huge lap style pool, tennis courts, bar area, ballroom, craft room, exercise room, card room, and many other planned activities.  Weekly church service is also offered in the ballroom area of the clubhouse.

Del Webb Orlando is the last to be built in Ridgewood Lakes and is also age restricted to 55+.  There are still many vacant lots available for those who wish to build new, but one can choose a resale as well.   This community began over five years ago, and has a spacious 30,800 sq. ft. clubhouse located on a lake, with a Lifestyle Director to coordinate all community activities.  The clubhouse offers a lap pool, exercise room, billiard room, arts & crafts, walking track and much more.  Access to this clubhouse is restricted to all Del Webb residents and their guests.  No short term rental is permitted, only long term.  The pet restriction is two pets only, but no size limitation.

All five subdivisions of Ridgewood Lakes have their own HOA dues, according to their individual amenities.   But all five also pay a Master Association which covers the gated entry and security, all common area landscaping, and pond and waterway maintenance.

Ridgewood Lakes has a subdivision to meet the needs of everyone, no matter what the age.  It is a pristine, gated, golf course community that is diversified by the variety of communities within and is exceptional in every respect!
