Halloween at Old Town
October 16th, 2013 10:20 AM

Old Town in Kissimmee has been well known many years for their Friday and Saturday night cruises of antique, modified or exciting muscle cars.  In October, it is also known as a fun place to celebrate Halloween.

With no admission fee, this is a great place to spend an evening with family or friends as there is plenty to do for all ages.  New restaurants and stores have opened recently, there is a live band for entertainment, and if adventuresome enough, one can ride a "bull," get tattoos, take a zip line or enjoy many other thrill rides.  At 8:30 PM, all cars for the cruise line up to parade down main street and it is the highlight of the evening!

During the Halloween season, there are plenty of "attractions" to see with great photo opportunities.  The decorations throughout the main street are very creative and professional, and real life "characters" play act throughout the evening.   At specific times, a group of dancers perform to the hit song, "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, and it is very well done!  Halloween music is played in all the streets and puts everyone is a festive mood.  There are plenty of benches to relax and enjoy the surroundings with a delicious root beer float from the A & W.   Many even attend in costume, adding to the fun.

For great entertainment, lots of Halloween fun, and minimal cost, Old Town along Hwy. 192 in Kissimmee is the place to be during the month of October.  Visit and have a great time!
