Barbara's Blog:

We are always looking for a new "adventure" in Central Florida and found one we thoroughly enjoyed. "Forever Florida" is not a theme park, but is a 4700-acre wildlife conservation area preserved just as nature intended.  This pristine site boasts nine Florida ecosystems and an endless array of natural flora and fauna, including alligators, black bears, white-tail deer, nearly 200 species of birds,  bobcats and the endangered Florida panther.  While it is rare to see a bobcat or panther, all of the others are often sited, in addition to wild hogs, cattle and horses.

We took a "Wild Coach Adventure" on an open-air safari coach, elevated 5 feet off the ground for a fantastic view.  You will travel through a Florida ranch featuring Spanish Colonial Cattle and Florida's unique Cracker Horses, direct descendants of those brought over by Ponce de Leon in the 1500's.  In addition to ranchland, you will visit a floodplain forest and take a stroll along a boardwalk to view Bull Creek, a "blackwater" stream of clear, tea-colored water, clean enough to drink. After the 2 hour tour, you can enjoy a meal or shop at the Cypress Restaurant, or just relax in the veranda rocking chairs, taking in the clean, fresh Florida air.

"Forever Florida" is located in St. Cloud and offers not only the Wild Coach Adventure, but also has the ONLY zipline roller coaster in the US!  There are Horseback Adventures, Rawhide Adventures, and Camping opportunities to offer a variety of adventures for all ages.  Reservations are required so be sure to plan ahead.  Visit www.ForeverFlorida.com and discover a new world in Florida!
